Experience the joy of live concert band music in Battle Creek.
There's a place for you here.
Thank you for your interest in Cereal City Concert Band! Our ensemble includes both professional musicians and dedicated amateur performers who simply love making music together. Musicians with strong playing skills are welcome to audition for available openings throughout the year. Even when there is not a permanent opening for your instrument, we often need interim musicians to fill in when regular members are unavailable.
What to Expect
Auditions
Auditions are required for membership and are offered throughout the year. After you submit your information, a member of the band will contact you regarding current opportunities and next steps.

Members are expected to make every effort to attend rehearsals so the ensemble is prepared for each performance. We understand that work, family obligations, illness, and emergencies may occasionally require an absence.Annual membership dues are $50, payable at the member’s first rehearsal.
